MENTAL HEALTH

Ignite also provides mental health treatment for psychiatric disorders such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar, PTSD, dual-diagnosis, insomnia, postpartum depression, and addiction for patients 4 years and older. Mental health disorders can influence a person’s mood, behavior, and the way they think, and can be short-term, occur only once, or carry long-term effects. While many mental health conditions stem from life experiences or social factors, some are related to chemical imbalances in the brain or other physiological functions. In a similar role to a psychiatrist, we can diagnose and treat mental health issues as fully licensed Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioners with prescription medications, such as mood stabilizers, antidepressants, and antipsychotics, and counseling. Furthermore, Ignite can help patients who have gained weight on their psychiatric medication. We also offer pre-bariatric surgery psychiatric evaluations.
